Remember This Day

Once again Pesach (Passover) and Resurrection Day coincide this year.  It will do us good to remember.  We are constantly adding new and exciting events and people in our lives, but we are also urged by God not to forget, but to remember - remember what He has done for us.  Just as He instructed the children of Israel thousands of years ago, may we teach generation after generation of the wondrous things He has done.

We live in a time when history is being rewritten, "all things are relative" - leaving interpretations up to individuals to make of them what they wish, truths and lies have all become gray, and the next generation has no definition of reality - only a made up place where there are no rules, everything is about feeling good, being sensitive and tolerance.

Our prayer this year, for ourselves and for you, is that we reflect and teach others about what He has done for us.  Pesach is such a time for this.... to remember.....  The last meal our Lord ate before He offered Himself for us was a Pesach Seder - the meal where the Jewish people would not only remember their deliverance from Egypt, but also the promise of a future deliverance to come.

If  you have the opportunity to attend a Passover Seder near you, we highly recommend it - you will see things in a whole new perspective, opening your eyes to the freedom offered to mankind 2,000 years ago.  Many churches now celebrate this important festival, to learn, to teach, to remember.

Once again, we would also like to include our own little "seder" - meaning "order".  The link at the end of this post will take you to a previous post we assembled.  It is filled with pictures from places in Israel where the "seder" of events took place the week leading up to Yeshua (Jesus) giving His life for us, His resurrection, and short time on earth before His ascension.  Yes, many of you have already viewed this post.  But for us, seeing where these events really took place, not just reading about them, is part of remembering during this season.  Again - over and over as we choose to have these truths imprinted on our hearts and minds.  Firming up those foundations of our faith in a way that will never allow history to be rewritten, or for it to become relative, or gray, or about feeling good or tolerance.

Truth is truth
So let us remember.....
